PARTICIPANT:  I met a girl in my area, she came and greeted me and I answered. She told me she was sent out of the house. She was begging me to accommodate her for the night but I told her I could not. I asked her why she was sent out of the house, she told me she stayed with her aunty that her aunty sent her out but I did not know what she does. But later that night, I got to know why she was lying. She called me one side where nobody could hear us and she said that; she was influenced by her friend, that they both go out together, that they sleep with boys, that like three times she got pregnant and aborted unaware of her aunty.


RESPONSE BY AUNTY IFY:  I think you applied wisdom by not letting her sleep in your place because that permission to spend the night must always come from your parents or guardians who will fully interrogate your visitor and know the right steps to take.
I think also that this girl is a bad egg and may pollute you if this relationship continues or gets stronger, please "detach" yourself from her company. Remember Bible states that "evil communication corrupts good manners", so please stay away from this girl and avoid her company. A girl could die from an abortion procedure or her womb may get damaged if anything goes wrong. STD's [sexually transmitted diseases] can be contacted from multiple sexual partners and illicit sex. Look for your age mates in who discuss positive issues, events and socials in your area or neighborhood.
